Kihei Elementary School gardens flourish with Home Grow Food

The school garden movement in Maui is moving ahead as the chefs from the three of Waileas best restaurants support them to raise funds and community spirit. The chefs arranged a workshop in April this year at the Kihei School Campus and over 700 students attended. There they learned how to make the most of the ground and available resources along with the importance of healthy eating.
